It was about time I added a face to my blog!

Over here on the left, I added an attempted self-portrait of myself done in the Japanese manga style. This was drawn 2 days ago from my perspective (that’ll be 4th Feb 2012), and this marks roughly a month since I started on this Journey.

At present, I haven’t caught up with updating this blog to where I am currently, but I’m working on it!

Not only will I describe what I did, what helped me, what inspired me, etc on each and every picture I draw, I will also post the very resources I used to help me. This could be a link to an article that an established artist wrote, a youtube tutorial, even books that I’ve read.

Please check out my introductory Post where I explain in greater detail the purpose of this blog and why I’m teaching myself to draw manga.

In the meantime, I highly recommend that you check out ‘Enjoy the journey.’ In this page, I’ve set out the road-map for the journey ahead for the benefit of my readers. The page also helps to structure the blog and with it, you can see where I came from in the journey, where I’m at, and where I’m going!
